On July 29th Corinthia Hotel London threw open its doors to welcome Brides Magazine. Hair and makeup artists and models glided through the doors to get ready for the show, clothes rails weighed down with the most gorgeous and on-trend wedding gowns were wheeled into position in The Ballroom, and the Corinthia London team flitted around ensuring that everything was ready to welcome the ever-so-fashionable guests consisting of bloggers, brides-to-be, wedding planners, and journalists.
On arrival, guests were welcomed with delicious Grey Goose Le Fizz cocktails and a mouth-watering selection of scrumptious mini canapes. Inwater Flowers had created stunning table displays, giving the whole Ballroom a glamorous and elegant garden party feel, whilst young saplings bedecked with white flowers sprouted from each table.
The dresses arranged around the room drew much attention, giving the guests a chance to have a close-up look at the finery before they saw it on the beautiful models as they strolled the catwalk. Intricate lace details, beading, and bows all made an appearance in these hot-off-the-rails designs.
Every dress that emerged as the models entered The Ballroom drew oohs and aahs galore. They ranged in style from the bohemian to the traditional, and the classic full skirt to a slinky trouser suit..! Each as gorgeous as the last.
The hair and makeup by Michael Van Clarke and Bobbi Brown respectively, was breath-taking – loose chignons, gentle curls, fishtail plaits, and perfect pixie crops were all complemented with fresh-faced bridal beauty.
After the catwalk show guests were given the chance to meet and talk to the designers and obtain essential bridal hair and makeup tips from the experts on-hand – a fantastic perk for a fabulous evening! The Ballroom lived up to every expectation and looked simply stunning; the perfect venue for such a glamorous wedding catwalk show.
With love from Corinthia London,
