The event kicked off early afternoon, guests were greeted with a glass of Mőet & Chandon Rosé Champagne before entering the Ballroom, where an abundance of delicious canapés, created by the clever chefs at Corinthia London, were waiting for them.
The show started with a Q&A session hosted by Kendra Leaver, Executive Retail Editor & Events Director from BRIDES magazine. Kendra discussed all things wedding related with Amanda Wakeley, the world-renowned hairdresser, Errol Douglas, and senior team members from the Bobbi Brown cosmetics, who gave their insights and knowledge on 2017 wedding dress styles, hair trends and make-up ideas. Errol thinks that wedding hair should look natural and touchable, long gone are the days of lots of hair spray and tight up-dos. Brides should try to look as natural as possible and as close to what they look like on a day-to-day basis. The team at Bobbi Brown also said that make-up should also look natural, and brides should avoid that heavy caked look, and instead use highlighters of bronze and gold colors to give that fresh, dewy look.
Beautiful models then graced the Ballroom wearing the most gorgeous dresses, think vintage romance. Perfectly detailed embroidery was combined with tulle and lace. Jewels, ribbons and patterns created elegant, soft flowing gowns which would make any bride feel special.

The day was a great success, and guests left happy and feeling inspired. They also did not leave empty handed, as BRIDES put together goodie bags filled with lots of exciting offers and treats!
