Holders Airdrieonians will play Lanarkshire neighbours East Kilbride in the fourth round of the SPFL Trust Trophy.
The Diamonds defeated the Lowland League outfit earlier in the season with an 8-0 annihilation in the group stages of the Premier Sports League Cup and Kilby must again go to New Broomfield for cup football.
East Kilbride will be desperate to atone for their nightmare result and it sets up an intruguing clash in next month's last 16. Kilby defeated League One side Cove Rangers 3-2 at K-Park on Saturday to reach this stage, while Airdrie eased past League One Queen of the South in a 3-0 win to progress.
Fellow Lanarkshire outfit Hamilton Accies defeated Dundee United B 4-0 last week and their reward is a home tie with Championship rivals Morton coming to New Douglas Park.
The ties are due to be played on the weekend of October 12/13.
The full list of ties in round four are as follows:
Hamilton Accies v Morton
Ayr United v Peterhead
Dunfermline v Kelty Hearts
Airdrieonians v East Kilbride
Annan Athletic v Queen's Park
Alloa Athletic v Arbroath
Livingston v Inverness Caley Thistle
Rangers B/Fraserburgh v Stenhousemuir
