Rodrygo Goes has stated that the team's goal is to go Undefeated this season. There's no doubt the boys can scrap but there's very little indication in the 40-game unbeaten run that this is a side that can go unbeaten for an entire season.
Real Madrid lost twice last season. Once in La Liga and then again in the Copa del Rey and both occasions falling to the mattress makers.
Yet.. I say, there's little indication that they can go unbeaten. Anyone who's watched Real Madrid play would not believe they're watching a team that can go unbeaten.
Palmeiras are giving away talented youngsters for free. But it's more likely Real Madrid will have to spend some money for this youngster. English teams and PSG will be throwing money at Palmeiras if his hype continues to grow.
Vinicius has an incredibly high ceiling if he keeps working on his craft. His leap from a winger who disrupts opposition defenses to a creator and goal scorer and all round forward has been amazing to watch. Mbappe is the only other youngster who could be compared to Vinicius for carrying the offense under enormous pressure. He's a truly wonderful player.
Kylian Mbappe was sorely missed against Atletico Madrid. He will be delighted at the opportunity to return to France looking to torment a Ligue 1 side for good measure.
Hopefully he gets to play a few minutes. There's no doubt our offense is easier with Kylian despite the criticisms regarding his goal return, we create many more chances with him on the pitch.
Gluten-free Dani Carvajal has aged like a fine wine. The Real Madrid 2nd Captain has been one of the standout players in Real Madrid's double winning effort last season. He went on to make superb interventions to help Spain win their 3rd Euros Trophy.
The Spaniards will be a key member of the squad in the foreseeable future with little indication that the club has looked into reinforcing the RB position currently occupied by Dani, deputised Lucas Vazquez.
Karim Benzema was at the absolute peak of his powers and showed that in the Nations League displaying some wonderful combination play with Kylian Mbappe. France had a complete offense which could help their midfield progress the ball and create more efficiently.
If it is true that Griezmann was responsible for Karim being dropped from the France squad. It is an absolute shame and in my case as someone who never had time for Griezmann, I think he's pathetic.
