The Spring 2016 Haute Couture season has just wrapped in Paris and this season’s runway gave us some serious Bridespiration courtesy of high fashioned brands Chanel, Ralph & Russo, Elie Saab, Georges Hobeika, and Zuhair Murad to name but a few.

For a bride unafraid of taking risks, the high fashion runways can be the perfect place to find that exquisitely beautiful, yet dramatic inspiration shot for your wedding dress. From full ruffled skirts with detailed rosettes, to bohemian separates, subtle hues of blues, and 60s-inspired caped shift dresses, here are our favourite bridal-inspired, couture gowns to take inspiration from when walking down the aisle.

Getting married on a beach and don’t want the traditional wedding dress? Look no further than this stunning Valentino couture gown. The soft, flowing fabric with butterfly detailing makes it perfect for saying ‘I Do’ in the sand.

Rami Al Ali added a bit of colour to the runway and showed off his gorgeous couture collection of luxurious embroidery and elegant brocade with subtle hues of blues – a perfect shade for your bridesmaid perhaps?

We blushed at Zuhair Murad’s gown showcasing lovely shades of pink and sheer yet stunning patterns with beautiful detailing, low cut bodices and glorious belt detail.

And we can’t talk about Paris Fashion Week without mentioning THE dress from Australian designers, Ralph & Russo. Their show-stopping finale bridal gown is breath-taking with its kimono sleeve detail and three metre long train! What’s better about the Ralph & Russo fashion show? Our fabulous in-house florists, By Appointment Only Design, were the creatives behind the delicate yet impressive floral arch display which only complimented the beautiful dresses being showcased.
