NOVAK DJOKOVIC 'ANNOYED' WITH FAN AT WIMBLEDON AS BBC COMMENTATOR SPOTS HEATED MOMENT HE LOST HIS PATIENCE

Novak Djokovic safely made it through to the Wimbledon last 16 – but not before losing his patience with a punter on centre court.

The seven time champion beat his Serbian compatriot Miomor Kecmanovic in straight sets to cruise through but he had some issues getting over the line in a service game at 5-3 in the final set.

He was 40 love up but Kecmanovic brought it back to 40-30 and Djokovic briefly paused on a serve before turning to look at a member of the crowd.

Djokovic appeared visibly frustrated at something and BBC commentator Andrew Cotter said: "He's getting a little bit annoyed with some of the noises coming out of the crowd."

And co-commentator Todd Woodbridge added: "He doesn't mind an old fight or an argument, does he Novak? It gets him fired up and focused."

It was all smiles when Djokovic eventually served it out though and on the heated moment, he said after the match: "I enjoyed that very much, except maybe the last couple of games.

"It was good to close it out in the end. It was a bit of tension in the end, I was 5-1 up and he brought it back to 5-4 and 40-30, things got a bit complicated.

"But it's never easy playing a friend and a compatriot. He's a super nice guy. More than rivals, we are friends, and I wish him all the best."
