ROBERTO FIRMINO FINALLY PUTS £4.5M LIVERPOOL MANSION UP FOR SALE WITH POOL HE WAS BAPTISED IN

Roberto Firmino has put his £4.5million mansion in Liverpool up for sale, nearly a year since he left Anfield.

The Brazilian became a modern-day icon in his eight years with the Reds, scoring 111 goals in 362 appearances. He was a key part of the team which won the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup under Jurgen Klopp.

But with his chances for game-time becoming increasingly limited, Firmino opted to leave on a free transfer last summer. After departing the Reds, the striker signed a deal to join Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli.

He has scored six goals in 27 games for his new side, who sit third in the Saudi top-flight, though there have been reports he is unhappy with life in the Middle East. But Firmino now appears to have put those rumours to bed.

The Brazilian has decided to put his mansion on Merseyside up for sale. The six-bedroom detached house has gone on the market, with a huge asking price of £4.5m.

The mansion boasts seven bathrooms, with a huge kitchen, a laundry room, a massage room and a home cinema. With a square footage of more than 10,000 square feet, the property also has a detached lodge for guests.

There's also an underground garage with space for eight sports cars, which includes a turntable to allow easy access for each vehicle. Most memorable for Firmino is the huge swimming pool that is also included.

Back in 2020, the Brazilian was baptised in it by countryman and then Liverpool team-mate Alisson. Firmino's family and friends all gathered around as Firmino underwent the traditional Christian ritual.

Speaking at the time, Firmino said: “I gave you my failures and the victories I will give you too. My greatest title is your love Jesus! Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away; behold, new things have come! New time.”

When he left Liverpool last summer, Firmino reiterated his love for the Premier League side. The striker paid tribute to his former team-mates and the Reds supporters for helping him feel at home.

"My last match in Anfield was incredible! And my whole time in Liverpool has been nothing but wonderful. I will never forget the roar of the Kop and the passion from all of you. The family and myself will forever carry this great club in our hearts," he said.

"We are so grateful for everything we were allowed to experience with you in these 8 years – the wins, the losses, the titles, the heartbreaks – this all helped me to become the man I am today. I can truly say that Liverpool has become a part of my family. Thank you all!"
