David Martindale is looking at bringing in one more player, having bolstered his Livingston squad with 11 signings so far this summer.
Martindale is well aware pundits will make them favourites for relegation, having dropped down to the Championship last season and bounced back up via the play-offs.
But he says the experience he and his players have will guard against that.
Returning defender Danny Wilson, Macaulay Tait coming back on loan from Hearts, and the signing of midfielder Mo Sylla has Martindale in a happy place.
That adds to defender Shane Blaney, right-back Cammy Kerr, midfielder Graham Carey, wingers Connor McLennan, Jannik Wanner and Aphelele Teto, and strikers Zak Rudden and Stevie May.
Martindale said: “The three boys late on in the window there have really added strength to the group. Wee Macaulay Tait, Danny Wilson and Mo Sylla, I think the three of them have been really top signings.
“I feel as if we’re in a good place. There are probably two or three boys moving on, which might open the door for another one coming in but if the window was to shut tomorrow, I’d say we’re in a fairly good place.

“We’re not a million miles away, but there’s always going to be one or two who are looking for game-time that might want to move on, so you’re always open to bringing another one in, if that situation arises.”
Martindale was speaking from their training camp in the Netherlands, where Livi will play friendlies against Greek side Aris FC today (Thursday) and KV Kortrijk of Belgium on Saturday.
He said: “It’s really good. The boys are all gelling well, they’re in a good place, fitness-wise. Temperatures are extremely hot, the same as all of Europe, but they’ve trained really well.
“It’s different in the heat, but we’re playing against two good teams. I’m looking forward to it.”
Livingston beat Alloa 3-1 in a friendly on Saturday, with strikes from Robbie Muirhead and Reece McAlear, and a spectacular 50-plus yards strike by Stevie May.
Purring Martindale said: “It was a great goal, good pressing from wee Macaulay. The counter-press got the ball back and Stevie hit one from about 10 yards inside his own half, it was a great finish.
“To be fair to Stevie, he’s come back in fantastic condition. He’s surprised me, in a really positive way. He’s right up the top of the running stats and in a good place.”
